Olivo Newport

15 St Thomas Square, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 1SL

Olivo, Newport is currently closed for refurbishment.

Perfectly positioned at the heart of the Island’s County town, Newport, Olivo is a charming little restaurant serving up traditional and modern Mediterranean cuisine. Nestled within the town’s St Thomas Square, during the summer months the restaurant spills out into the street for a delightful alfresco dining experience, with a glass of wine you will be excused for thinking you are in Italy and not the Isle of Wight.

The restaurant originally opened in 2004 and is currently undergoing refurbishment. The restaurant is usually open from 8am daily serving fresh coffee, tea, pastries, sandwiches and more. The lunch menu is available from midday where you can enjoy delicious homemade pizzas and authentic pasta. A tempting daily specials board is also available and the children aren’t forgotten either with a dedicated menu just for them.

Whether you are looking for a romantic meal or an informal friends or family dinner, Olivo in the evening offers a beautiful dining experience. Each dish is cooked with authentic Mediterranean products which is complimented by some of the best ingredients the Island has to offer. Complete your meal with a beautiful bottle of wine, featuring a few favourite handpicked ones, or chilled beer.
