What is the best thing about the Isle of Wight foodie scene?
The amount of independent businesses that we now have on the Island is fantastic… so many lovely restaurants, coffee shops, cafés and pubs, you are spoilt for choice!
What is the one dish on your menu you keep coming back to?
The American Brekkie Waffle is a big favourite, with customers too. The combination of smoked streaky bacon and the sweet Canadian maple syrup, alongside the soft bubble waffle, is truly irresistible.
What is your local tipple?
I enjoy a Mermaid Gin as well as some of Goddards Brewery’s ales.
Where is your favourite place to go for dinner?
My wife and I enjoy going to The Blacksmith’s – the roast belly of pork is to die for.
What is your favourite event on the Island?
I really enjoyed Island Con last year, we catered for it, but this year I am very excited for The Great Wonderfest in early August and FanTC Con in late August.
