At the recent tourism conference that took place in March, Isle of Wight MP Bob Seeley spoke of his enthusiasm and praise for our foodie scene. In his video address, he is seen praising the Island’s food sector, pubs and restaurants, stating that they are getting it right and appealing to our important visitor market, and a great asset to the Island
He also noted that his personal favourites include PO41 Coffee House in Yarmouth and the classic, The Taverners in Godshill, which specialise in seasonal and local produce.
It is great to see that the Island’s MP recognises how hard our food and drink industry work and exciting our food scene really is. For a small Island, we certainly have lots to shout about!
