The Yarbridge Inn, Brading needs your help! Although trade has dropped due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Becky and the team still have a kitchen full of food that they don’t want to see go to waste.

The popular pub has already introduced a takeaway and delivery service for residents in the Brading and Sandown area, but are keen to reach out to the elderly and vulnerable members of the community. They’re appealing to local businesses and members of the public for ideas on how to best make use of their fully functioning kitchen and food stocks.

Posting on their Facebook page, Becky had the following plea “Please, if you know somebody in a vulnerable situation that would benefit from a hot meal please do get in touch. I know some of you will live away from your relatives and won’t be able to be with them under the circumstances. Please know they are not alone, we would love to help keep their bellies fed.”

At this difficult time, with visitor numbers dropping dramatically, support for local businesses is vital for their survival – the message is simple, use them or lose them!
