Far more than just a decoration at Halloween, once carved make the most of the tasty orange treat with our three ways with pumpkin:
Grate into a cake – add to cinnamon for lightly spiced cupcakes, or substitute for your favourite carrot cake recipe. Or bake into an American classic, the Pumpkin Pie.
Blend it up with onions, cream, lemongrass and ginger for an oriental take on pumpkin soup.
Use it to cook with. Use the hard skin of your pumpkin to add flavour to dishes by cutting the top off, scraping out the seeds leaving the flesh behind, and baking in the
oven. Finally add in your chosen dish (curries work really well) and eat it out of your tasty pumpkin bowl!
