As the Islands food, drink and hospitality sector is closed or adapting, we’re looking for your food stories to share with the Taste community.  We want to share your recipes, tips and tricks and help inspire others to eat well and stay healthy at home, whilst also helping keep people thinking about the busiensses that are affected at this time.

Just send us your clips and our Taste video monkeys will edit it together and share on our social channels.  We’re not looking for anything fancy, just simple recipe videos, behind the scenes or downtime jobs your catching up with.  Whatever you have to share, we want to continue to help support the Island hospitlaity sector.

Video content is really popular at the moment, and we’ve seen some great engagement with followers especially through Instagram stories, and IGTV.  Check out some of our video examples below of what foodies across the world (and a little closer from home) have been getting up too.

If you’ve got any questions or want to discuss some ideas, feel free to get in touch with us – email thea@solent.co or call 01983 556844

Send us your content

To get involved, simply upload your content to our Dropbox.  A Taste team member will get in touch to discuss your content.

Please ensure you only send us unedited footage, we’ll be publishing some tips and tricks on how to get the best footage soon.

Hey everyone, fancy this tasty treat?? Available now to collect, just drop us a line, send us a message and soon these lovely smells will be in your own kitchen 😊 It’s £15 which includes wild garlic pesto and all you have to do is whack it in the oven! All of our menus are all now available to order for collection or delivery – check the website for details. If you know of someone older who needs cheering up with all what’s going on – let us know a name, we’ll pick one out and then that person has one of these soufflés from us, collected or delivered 🙌 Stay safe everyone and look after one another 👍 #thompsons #isleofwight #dineout #takeaway #westandtogether #foraging #seasonal #tastyfood #cheflife #toughtimes #keepsmiling
